My 2-year-old daughter Olivia is really into Despicable Me and the Minions right now so I thought it would be fun for us to take a break from the movie watching and try to create our own massive 9-foot version of the awesome alligator couch from the movie. She loves helping me paint it and we did this together as a bonding project to help her understand that she would be becoming a big sister very soon. Some day we discussed that she would be able to sit on this couch with her sister just like the little girls in the movie.
Fast forward a few years later and you will see that big sister Olivia and her little sister Cassidy still enjoy chilling out on this labor of love.
