Boston's 98.5 The Sports Hub radio station has partnered with Source Promo, a local promotional product supplier, offering a shirt design contest for listeners with the winning design being sold for a limited time and a portion of the proceeds supporting the Massachusetts's Special Olympics. My submission pays tribute to the legendary 1992 Olympic Basketball Dream Team and the iconic shirt I had as a kid, illustrated by renowned late artist Bruce Stark (shown below).
I started with pencil sketches and then moved into a digital painting process to create caricatures of each of the radio station on-air hosts under the concept name "Stream Team."
Once the caricatures were complete, the station and Stream Team logos were added in Photoshop and a short promotional video was created for use on social media.
